Game changer for laggy VR

I got this router because using the home Xfinity XB7 router was not cutting it - I could not support much bitrate and would often get lots of stutters and general lag.Amazing performance and strength, though the apps are kind of really trash (slow, glitchy, or confusing/unintuitive). I love the sleek diet PS5 look it has too. It would be nice if it was easier to set up and configure, but it could also be me having not a lot of knowledge in networking-related things.Pros: General performance, strength, designCons: Apps, setup

When it works, it's great

Not sure if 3 or 4 stars is right. When it works, it is a great device. But it is everything other then plug 'n play. You need to read the manual thoroughly, and do some tweaking and configuration. Not less then with a dedicated standard router. After the initial setup it worked like a charm. The next day the Prism Pulse network was just gone. After writing with tech support (they were quick to respond and helpful) I got it running again... 'till I shut down the PC.Seems that I have to cycle through WIFI frequencies after every reboot to find a working one.Not everyone seems to have that troubles. And as I wrote:When it works, it works great. So just try it and if the troubles are bigger than the usefulness for you, send it back.

Works fine with some setup

I received a Quest 3S for Xmas, my previous PCVR Headset was a Valve Index. I was sick of the setup, base stations, wires and never really liked the controllers so I was eager to try the Quest3S wirelessly. Purchased this router after a few reviews and was happy with it; initially. It started feeling laggier after a few weeks, loads of buffering and general gameplay interruptions and I was getting upset with it. I re-set it, messed around with everything I could and it seemingly got worse and worse. Eventually, I started working with the Windows App promps specifically the Wireless network radio frequency graphs and other settings. Switched some frequencies around and eventually I got it working even better than when I first got it. I am now extremely happy with it. I love that it's completely USB based, so no additional power supplies or junk like that. It's compact, but I admit the Windows app feels amateur, and the Android app is buggy but everything is functional. If it had better software support, it would be idiot proof plug and play but I also don't believe that anybody experienced with PCgames and VR stuff wouldn't be able to get it working as flawlessly as I have. Piggy backing the internet to a headset also wasn't automatic but not difficult. It has occasional hiccups, but not game breaking but maybe I can play with the radiofrequency settings some more to completely get rid of it but still everything tracks fine and true. Despite the initial problems I had with it I am still more than happy to give this 5-Stars. With the help of this I've basically retired my $1000 Valve Index with a Quest3S.
